Great little ice cream / burger stand. Order from the windowvstand outside, then get your food through the window. Old time type place. Nice clean bench and tables outside. Oarking and access to the road are good and easy. We had a hot fudge Sunday and chocolate shakes, and they were good. We would stop here again and probably get a burger and fries.
Once in a while I get a craving for a chilly cheese dog & it's usually because I drive by & think hmmm a chilli cheese dog sounds tasty today. This occurs probably 2 times a year. They have good fries too.
This is a solid burger and ice cream spot in Eldon, Mo. Prices are reasonable, food was very fresh and serving sizes were generous. A dad and son in front of us order small swirl cones and I swear they were 8 inches tall! This place has stayed in business for a good reason!
Great folks serving some favorite comfort foods. It was my first visit, so I asked the person who took my order what to get. He suggested a chili dog and a strawberry banana chocolate milkshake. His recommendations did not disappoint. My favorite thing about the chili dog was the bun was as long as the hot dog, which was longer than a normal hot dog. The hot dog itself had great flavor and the firm snappy skin, not mushy or chewy stretchy skin. It was great. The bun was warmed up and had a great yeasty flavor. The chili did not disappoint, just the right amount and the flavor was perfect. As for the milkshake, it had real strawberry and banana in it just like he said it would. The ice cream was thick and creamy, such a good milkshake. We also ordered a banana split which was served with three real sized scoops of soft serve ice cream. The toppings were just the right amount. It was great too.
Be aware, this is not fast food. They make each item you order, so it's going to take a minute to get your food, but the wait is totally worth it. They have a couple nice picnic tables undercover you can sit on to get out of the rain or sun. We'll make sure and stop here when we find ourselves in Eldon. It's a perfect small town joint.

This is a tiny little place with a drive thru if you do not want to get out, however, be prepared to wait a long time. I know this, so it does not bother me. I drive thirty minutes just for their soft serve ice cream cones. They are sooooo good (I do a twist) and the portion of ice cream is huge with great prices.
The famous chili cheese dog was disgusting had sliced cheese on it. The service was poor the lady making the chili dogs was on her phone wearing no gloves. -10/10 in my opinion
The chili cheese dogs always hit the spot. I get them with mustard and onions. Maybe a really good chocolate malts as well.

Really good food. Cant ever go wrong with chili cheese dogs, nachos and fries. Chocolate marshmallow malts are exceptionally tastey.
SO YUM! We gotta stop for chili cheese dogs, chili cheese fries & a giant root bee every time we're even near Eldon, Missouri! YUM!
